eBayOpenSource.org's mission is to open source some of the best of breed technologies that were developed originally within eBay Inc, for the benefit of the community, under a liberal open source license. These projects are generic technology projects and several years of development effort has gone into them to mature them. A couple of projects are open sourced to begin with. The first project is code named, Turmeric. Turmeric is a comprehensive SOA development platform using which services can be developed, deployed, managed and monitored in a scalable fashion. The second project is code named VJET, a java script IDE. Community is free to take advantage of these projects.
