Configuration is an important aspect in application design and especially in the design of Cloud applications. The need to develop, test, and release code in the ephemeral spaces of the Cloud mean that details about location, relationships with other services, cryptographic keys, the maximum size of an event processing queue, and countless others need to be abstracted away from the application logic. Kubernetes Configuration principles need to be taken into account in OSGi applications and OSGi Configuration Admin is ideally suited to handle the most complex configuration scenarios. We'll discuss the state of the art and how to achieve a smooth and tight integration between the two.
Objective of the presentation:
Review the state of the art of integrating Kubernetes configuration into OSGi frameworks for consistency and scalability.
