With proliferation of digitisation, internet security has become of the most important aspects of our daily life - by virtue of the dependency of various transactions that carry out through that channel. Irrespective of the languages, frameworks and deployment targets in which these applications are developed or deployed, TLS has become the de-facto flag-bearer of data security at the network level. TLS too has evolved through years to cater to diverse needs of the modern workload. In this session, we explain the transport layer security, its operating space and scope, as well as this evolutionary journey. We will also compare and contrast with other protocols and identify the tradeoffs. The aim is to spread awareness of using the right security model for the workload at hand, and develop your applications efficiently and securely.
Security - TLSv1.3 is the way ahead
Objective of the presentation:
The objective of this talk is to illustrate the need for TLS1.3 , how different it is wrt to other protocols and it's security aspects like how secure it is for our apps.
