The Oniro Project is a vendor neutral, open governance and open source Global OpenHarmony compatible distribution project managed as an Eclipse Foundation project and working group and it leverages Eclipse Foundation experience in OpenSource governance and uses an advanced IP compliance and licensing toolchain.
Through this session we will navigate the different components and layers in which Oniro is currently working to build a futuristic OS fitting devices of all sizes.
Oniro provides the foundational fabric for devices of different sizes big or small, with seamless interoperability, modularization and a rich graphical UI while supporting global technologies and use cases in various industries such as Consumer Electronics, Home Appliances, Industrial IoT devices, Smart Home and Multimedia.
We will cover the infinite development value for app and platform developers and vendors; being hardware independent, supporting multiple programming languages and with the possibility of deploying anywhere your code. And for device manufacturers, OEM and chipset vendors, who can benefit from smartening their devices, reducing the time to market, and assuring IP compliance.
The event is planned to be collaborative with some short talks but open to discussion.
We will bring some food and beverages to share a lot of knowledge and inspiration and have a great time together.
